Education, as we all know is a topic of debate today. In a world where information is available to the students at the click of a button, the teacher is no longer the only source of information or knowledge. So how do we make teaching relevant to today's young minds? The challenges seem to be many but still educational institutions at all levels will continue to play an important part in the growth and development of a child and there is no alternative to it.

Parents too need to guide their children in nurturing their inherent talents and give them the necessary emotional support. They should help their children indulge in real relationships than virtual ones. We at Yenepoya provide opportunities for the parents to be part of this learning process along with their children.

Teaching and Non-Teaching Faculty are the bonds which connect the child at College and at home. It is important for them to realize their role in shaping up each child under their care.

We have a very caring and committed staff and our goal is to help each student reach his/her fullest potential. This sums up the ethos and commitment of all members of staff to nurture the potential of every student, developing personal excellence in a caring environment. YPUC has the distinction of being the first institution in the city to shift from Offline education to an Online system, during the outbreak of COVID-19. The management mobilized Online learning programme, provided technical infrastructure and training within the shortest possible time to switch over to Online teaching to ensure that students’ learning is not hampered.

Wholesome participation is encouraged in the extensive range of extra-curricular activities and care is also taken to ensure the wellness and happiness of every student here. Special attention is given to students to encourage their latent talents and every opportunity is provided to showcase them. This has enabled the students to actively participate in tournaments, sports, and cultural activities at the state, national and international levels.. The students have brought laurels to the institution by bagging several prizes in art and craft, karate, swimming, cricket, football, rifle shooting, music, drama and theatre and other cultural activities.

The members of staff are regularly engaged in professional development activities that focus on these effective learning attributes. All students are taught life skills and values necessary for success in education, life, and work. They leave our portals as well- educated humane and human persons who, have the capability, confidence, courage, and liberty to make a positive contribution to our society.
