The Yenepoya PU College celebrated the Annual Day-YENRICH EXTRAVAGANZA 2022 on 19th November 2022 at Yendurance Zone Derlakatte. The formal function started with an invocation followed by a welcome dance by the PU students. The formal function was hosted by Mohamed Aqeel Ummer of II PU Commerce and Amena of II PU Science. The chief guest for the function was Mr. Leslie Noel Rego who was well Known as a Compere, a businessman and a motivational speaker. Mr. Uzwal Menezes, Principal of Yenepoya PU College welcomed the chief guest, dignitaries and the gathering. Mr. Farhad Yenepoya, the Pro-Chancellor of The Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) delivered the Presidential address. The event was honoured by the presence of dignitaries including Mrs. Mishria Javeed, the Campus Director and Mrs. Euvet Pereira, the Campus Co-ordinator. The chief guest was introduced to the audience by Afran of II PU Commerce. Mr. Leslie Noel Rego took the festivity of the event to a greater level by his zealous speech in which he shared his life experiences and thoughts. The audio annual report of the college projected in the LED was the highlight of the event wherein all the events and the activities of the past year along with the academic and sports achievements of the students were reported. The formal function came to an end with the vote of thanks by Afeefa of I PU Science .The Cultural event-YENRICH EXTRAVAGANZA 2022 with the theme South India was compered by Ziyaan of IPU Science and Shamreen of IIPU Science. The students showcased their talent by portraying the culture and traditions of various South Indian States through their dance forms which enunciated the thought of Unity in diversity. Group songs, medley and drama were the other highlights of the show. The last performance was an integration dance by the students of all south Indian states which was highly applauded by the audience as it brought out the vigorous patriotism in everyone. The cultural event concluded with the National Anthem.
