The Orientation program for II PUC Science students, held on June 14, 2024, at the College Auditorium, was an inspiring and energizing event. It was meticulously designed to motivate and prepare students for the academic challenges that lie ahead. The program featured a diverse range of sessions and activities aimed at cultivating a positive and driven mindset among the students.The orientation kicked off with an engaging ice-breaking session led by Mr Valentine Crasta, Lecturer in Physics. Students actively participated in introduction circles, team-building action songs, and discussion groups, fostering collaboration and open communication. This session established a welcoming atmosphere, helping students feel more comfortable and connected from the start.

Following the ice-breaking activities, the Principal, Mr Uzwal Menezes, delivered a keynote address. He underscored the pivotal nature of the II PUC year, emphasizing its role as a cornerstone for future academic and career pursuits. The Principal reassured students about the robust support system available to help them succeed, instilling a sense of security and motivation among the attendees.

The highlight of the orientation was the motivational session led by Mr Stany Lobo, Student Welfare Officer. With an engaging and dynamic presentation, the speaker covered key themes such as the power of positive thinking, goal setting, time management, overcoming challenges, and staying motivated. Mr Melwin Felix, Dean of the Commerce Department, shared insights on the importance of financial planning, particularly in terms of savings and investments. This segment provided students with valuable perspectives on managing their finances and planning for the future.
